World's best trout fishing rivers can be found on either side of the Lodge. 200 metres to boat ramp and access to lake situated on Southern end of Lake Taupo. Smoke house available for successful anglers.
Hunting and Tramping
Quick 10 minutes' drive to Kaimanawa ranges for Sika deer hunting and the best bush walks available. Popular local bush walks adjacent to the Lodge
Skiing
35 minutes' easy drive to ski fields at Whakapapa.
